Review
This is a pretty inspiring book for those of us who want to get better at using data and analysis to make better decisions. Silver seems to have an understanding of statistics embedded in his genome, and does a really good job of explaining why prediction is hard and how it can be made better. He offers a good discussion of Bayesian inference - not enough to be useful to the practitioner, but enough to point in the right direction.
