Review
Most of the short pieces in this book have not very much to do with Route 66, at least not in any practical sense. I guess this is meant to give you an idea of the geographic and historical context. Some of the oral history from the 20s and 30s is pretty interesting, as is the diversity of perspective.
You might find this enjoyable, but it just wasn’t what I was looking for.
