Review

Having known next to nothing about this period in Irish history I’m not in a position to say whether it is biased or not. But it seemed to me to be a straight-forward account of the Irish independence movement leading up to Irish home rule as part of the British empire in 1923. It’s a very short book, so details are a bit scant at times. Overall it seems like a good introduction to the topic.
