Review
This is the third set of Proulx’ Wyoming stories, with a little extra in the form of a humorous story about Satan re-landscaping hell. The rest of the stories are mostly about hard-scrabble Wyoming settlers, ranchers, cowboys, and their busted hopes and dreams. Pretty dark stuff, but Proulx’ compassion and irony make for mostly entertaining reading.
